The First Team

Goalkeeper

George Shanks-Boon

Booner has been No.1 GK at the club now for 3 seasons. He’s in his second spell with Portishead after being brought back to the club by the current manager Eamonn Daly. The big dog is a fantastic shot stopper and is always striving to improve his game.

Defender / Midfield

Hamish Hurst

Hamish belies his young age of 21, he was already excelling at men’s football when he broke through at 16.

Despite moving to University in Cardiff, Hamish has stayed loyal to Portishead Town. Every year he grows in ability and although only 21 he has tremendous experience at this level.

He can play anywhere in the backline and even in centre midfield, although predominately a defender Hamish also has an eye for goal.

Defender

Elliot Ripley

Elliot joined us this season after playing for Risca in Wales whilst at University. He is a very composed ball playing centre half.

Elliot is currently skipper of the side and with his will to win and competitive edge he makes a great leader on and off the pitch.

Defender

Caolan Pearce

Caolan is a successful product of the Portishead youth system, first breaking into the first team at 17 years old whilst mostly developing with the reserves he has now cemented himself as a first team regular.

Caolan has fine attributes, he’s great in the air, quick and a very accomplished ball player.
