Posset come from behind to win 2-1
By Peter Noble
Esposito and Winkler on target
x4 20 minute quarters.
A great game to watch with Bristol City as expected playing quick 2 touch football and were very quick to close Portishead down. Much of the game was a tight affair with chances kept to a minimum, but what chances di come went to Portishead earlier on.
In the last couple of quarters, Portishead seemed to run out of ideas and City started to get some opportunities in the final third. Bristol City took the lead after a good shot which was parried by Ethan Noble in the goal but straight to a City player who finished and was a little harsh against Portishead.
Portishead didn't give up and when it was alleged that Cody Winkler had been fouled in the box, Alex Esposito stepped up to bury the penalty.
Cody and became match winner when he managed to turn well and finish in off the post.
Portishead saw out the game to record the win but also gained valuable insight into what it takes to make academy level.
