Portishead Juniors under 14’s travelled to Swiss Valley Rangers and within one minute were ahead. Some great work from Jacob Brand set up Jacob Weekes who slotted home. Juniors dominated the first half, with Louie Dun and Ethan Monks controlling the midfield. Any breakaway was dealt with by Daniel McCorquodale, Brady Gould and Charlie Chichester. As the game progressed into the second half, Juniors continued to create the best chances with Jack Nattress lively in attack. Rangers went closest from a corner which Harri Battista did superbly to tip away to maintain a clean sheet. With ten minutes remaining Jack Booker found Isaac Rylett in the box who swivelled to score. Rylett then turned provider for Weekes to grab his second and Juniors third. Man of the match was Angus Jones who was excellent at the back.
