Portishead Juniors under 14's faced local rivals Town and eventually ran out comfortable winners. Town dominated the first ten minutes of the match but they couldn't make the breakthrough. With Juniors first attack of the game Ethan Monks fired home two minutes before Harri Battista added a second. Man of the match Daniel McCorquodale was outstanding at the back and kept Town at bay. Just before half-time Battista scored his second following a great through ball by Louie Dun. The game was put to bed in the early stages of the second half as Battista was denied a hat-trick by a post but Jacob Brand was on hand to tap home. Monks made it five with a clever lob to secure the points. Juniors ensured a clean sheet with Charlie Chichester making some crucial tackles as the game came to a close in a good five nil victory.
